So, this VN is probably one of the more important ones, so I'll give you the bits I want you to remember.

Damon Riccitiello is the CEO of Utopinia, an urban development firm with a specialty in revitalizing cities and has its eyes on Santa Destroy. He built this massive amusement complex up in San Jose in only 6 months, possibly with some strange future tech. He also has a Death Ball.

This Death Ball is a game called Serious Moonlight. Damon here actually worked on it himself, under none other than Dr. Juvenile herself. To hear him tell it, she came up with all these random ideas for the game, and he and the rest of the team just could not make them work. So, he led the team in a revolt, criticizing her ideas for what they thought would be the perfect video game. The game ended up canceled, and Damon was transferred to another team because, according to him, Dr. Juvenile was afraid of his "amazing ideas."

By the way, did I mention yet that Damon was an intern at this point? Because he's just an intern. And after the game was canceled, he marched up to Dr. Juvenile and demanded the last remaining copy of Serious Moonlight so it could be finished. When she said no (because, again, he's just an intern), he decided to beat her unconscious and took the Death Ball when he left.

For this, Travis has decided he's not even worth drawing his beam katana, and instead he just beats the shit out of Damon and takes the Death Ball himself. What goes around comes around, as they say. Damon swears revenge, but hey, what else is new?

Also! Juliet Chesterfield, Damon's "tertiary secretary," is... not a cameo! Maybe. There's some fan speculation that she's actually Juliet Starling, the main character of Lollipop Chainsaw, who has since become so jaded that she's trying to distance herself from her past by changing her last name.

For my part, I can see it, but I can see how flimsy the reasoning is. There are only three things suggest it: 1) they have the same first name, 2) Chesterfield here has a bloody past she won't talk about, and 3) the "Chainsaw" in the name. I've never played Lollipop Chainsaw, or even watched an LP, but unless the bubbly cheerleader is secretly a retro gamer with a love for Namco's 1983 arcade game Mappy, I don't buy it.
