About Ms. Lavanya Karthikeyan:-

Lavanya is 14 years old and is a rising Freshman at the Bridgewater-Raritan High School. She is introduced to Carnatic music and Bharathanatyam since the age of 5. She is currently learning vocal from Chi. Abilash Giriprasad, Violin from Sri. Rajeev Mukundan and Bharathanatyam from her mother Smt. Radha Varadhachary. She has won in music and dance competitions held by Cleveland Thyagaraja aradhana, CMANA, SAPTAMI, NJNS, Natya Spardha, Papanasam Sivan festivals and recently won the Best Vocalist, Violinst and Dancer in the Early teen category in the COVID-19 STAYHOME GLOBAL DIGITAL COMPETITION held by Spring Nectar Academy. Lavanya also has participated in contests conducted by Indian Raga and has topped the Championship board for both Violin
and Dance in the year 2017 in the Intermediate category.

Her hobbies include Basketball, Rock Climbing, Biking, and Gardening.
