In a preview of what we can expect from the final report of the January 6 House select committee investigating of the insurrection, Talking Points Memo published some of the text messages that Donald Trump's former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows handed over to the J6 committee before he stopped cooperating. As Talking Points Memo reported, "Mark Meadows Exchanged Texts With 34 Members of Congress About Plans to Overturn the 2020 Election."

Here is a review of some of those texts and why it appears some members of Congress were all too will to assist in the insurrection.
