Byron Bay Cookies are still baked to perfection in Byron Bay. It comes then as no surprise that the gourmet manufacturer would pick Byron as the location for its new film, the first campaign of its sort for the iconic Australian brand.

Starring local talent and Instagram power weights – and real life close friends – Olive Cooke and Lisa Danielle, the film follows two friends as they explore some of Byron’s most iconic locations, stopping at the local markets and pausing to enjoy a coffee and a cookie (or two!). Local fashion label and international success story Spell Designs also makes an appearance. The film is backed by an enchanting soundtrack by local artist Mikey Bee (Mt Warning) who composed the track “Runaway” exclusively for the campaign. The lyrical beauty of the soundtrack and the luminescence of the cinematography come together in a captivating way.

Whilst the brand has strong ties with the café market, the film also showcases the brand’s latest gift range, a collection of keepsake tins featuring stunning botanical prints inspired by the subtropical flora of the Byron Bay hinterland.
