What's up everyone! In this video I want to talk about motorcycle insurance for young people. I receive a lot of comments and questions about how difficult it can be for young people to afford motorcycle insurance, or for younger people to even get insurance for a motorcycle. So here we go with motorcycle insurance explained.

This is one of those things that there unfortunately is not one simple answer or solution to. Here in the U.S. in every state that I can think of it is required by law that a person has vehicle insurance for any vehicle that they own and drive, and that includes motorcycles. As a general rule, insurance on a motorcycle (or most any vehicle in general) is much more expensive in the U.S. for people under the age of 25. Also as a general rule, the bigger the bike and the more horsepower it has, the more expensive the insurance will be.

Several solutions for this for younger people would be to either ride smaller motorcycles, buy cheaper used motorcycles, or try to get on an insurance policy with their parents. Any of these will help you afford motorcycle insurance more easily.
