Middle Eastern Revision Rhinoplasty: Aladdin's Story

After multiple failed procedures and surgeries to repair the damage sustained from an accident in 2015, Aladdin had lost all hope for correcting his breathing issues. Over the course of six years, Aladdin sought the help of several surgeons, undergoing many forms of treatments but unfortunately, none were able to improve his breathing. Feeling he had almost nothing to lose, Aladdin decided to try one more time to try to resolve his breathing issues and booked a consultation with Dr. Kian.

Dr. Kian thoroughly examined Aladdin’s nose and airways during consultation and explained to him that his nose would need to be completely reshaped to be regain his ability to breathe properly. Concerned with keeping the natural shape of his nose, Aladdin was surprised to hear this but eager to learn more. Using Vectra 3D imaging technology, Dr. Kian and Aladdin collaborated together to design a natural looking nose that retained his masculine features and middle eastern identity. Further putting Aladdin at ease, Dr. Kian explained how the internal changes would open his airways allowing him to breathe better without dramatically altering his appearance.

For a successful outcome, Dr. Kian needed to reshape, restructure and reorganize Aladdin’s nasal cartilages completely. Subtle cosmetic enhancements including bump reduction and cartilage support to improve his drooping tip were also performed to give Aladdin a natural looking result that doesn’t look like he's had nasal surgery.
