Rs 300 Crores for Allu Arjun in Pushpa 2 Th Rule, Biggest Pay in Indian Cinema

The most widely discussed topic is the reportedly significant salary of lead actor Allu Arjun for his role in the film directed by Sukumar.


As anticipation mounts for the December 5 release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, discussions surrounding the film's cast have intensified. Of particular interest is the rumored substantial salary of lead actor Allu Arjun for his role in the Sukumar-directed film.

A recent Forbes India report reveals that Allu Arjun's remuneration for his role in "Pushpa 2" has established a new industry standard. His reported fee of Rs 300 crore positions him as the highest-paid actor in India, surpassing prominent figures such as Thalapathy Vijay, Rajinikanth, Prabhas, Ajith Kumar, and Kamal Haasan in the South Indian film industry, as well as Bollywood's leading actors, including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar.


The report provides a comparative analysis of leading actors' earnings. It indicates that Vijay typically commands a remuneration ranging from Rs 130 crore to Rs 275 crore per film. Rajinikanth's fees are reported to be within the range of Rs 125 crore to Rs 270 crore. Prabhas is said to charge between Rs 100 crore and Rs 200 crore per film. For his role in Thunivu, Ajith Kumar's remuneration was reportedly between Rs 105 crore and Rs 165 crore. Kamal Haasan's fee for Indian 2 is estimated to fall within the range of Rs 100 crore to Rs 150 crore.


So, while Allu Arjun is raking in a massive 125 crores for Pushpa 2, his co-stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil aren't getting quite the same payday. Word on the street is that Rashmika, who's a major part of the sequel, got 10 crores, and Fahadh Faasil's paycheck is around 8 crores. That means Allu Arjun's fee is a whopping 30 times higher than what his co-stars are making.


In addition, Pushpa 2 features a special dance number with actress Sreeleela and Allu Arjun. For this performance, Sreeleela reportedly received a payment of Rs 2 crore. In comparison, Samantha Ruth Prabhu's appearance in the well-known song "Oo Antava" in the first Pushpa film reportedly garnered a payment of Rs 5 crore.


With a star-studded cast and sky-high salaries, Pushpa 2 is set to be a massive hit and could be one of the biggest movies of the year.
