Maiko Morotani, PT, DPT. Director of Learn Movement System.
Board certified specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
Maiko is from Osaka, Japan. After finishing high school in Japan, she got her undergrad degree in biology from Grinnell College, and then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She has been primarily taking care of orthopedic patients in Los Angeles / Long Beach area. Since 2020, she is providing clinical care at patients' homes via Pete Health.

Maiko is one of the Japanese translators of the best selling textbook, "Movement System Impairment Syndromes of the Extremities, Cervical and Thoracic Spines" originally written by Dr. Shirley Sahrmann and associates. She has a passion for sharing her knowledge of the human movement system not just with her patients but to other physical therapists all over the world.
Since 2022, Maiko and her company Nexus Motion have been asked to be the course coordinator for the MSI courses held at Washington University in St. Louis.
