To kindle awareness among voters for robust participation in the upcoming General Elections for the Srinagar Lok Sabha Constituency, the District Election Authority Srinagar organized a Vibrant Voter Awareness program at Asia’s largest and world-famous Tulip Garden under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative. The Indian Army has set up a skill development center for local women in the border village of Gurez in North Kashmir's Bandipora sector, near the Line of Control. The Jammu and Kashmir administration is initiating efforts to restore the 8th Century Martand Sun Temple, dedicated to the Sun God, in Anantnag, South Kashmir. The Indian Army has generously donated computers to the Government High School Shahpur in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. The government has initiated the macadamization process for the circular road in Rajouri, marking a significant infrastructure development for the area.
