'Fraidy Cat by Vaughn Monroe and His Orchestra. Released in 1941 'Fraidy Cat is the B side to The Shrine of St. Cecelia which is on the A side. Vaughn Wilton Monroe (October 7, 1911 – May 21, 1973) was an American baritone singer, trumpeter and big band leader who was most popular in the 1940s and 1950s. He has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, one for recording and another for radio performance.

The reproducer on this phonograph was recently rebuilt by Jim Bertin of the Victrola Collector channel here on YouTube. Having a damaged aluminum diaphragm with worn gaskets, Jim was able to replace it with a spare mica one he had laying around which fit perfectly along with replacing the gaskets. The phonograph can now be heard back to its previous glory. Jim's video of him rebuilding it can be seen at the link below:
