An Eventful Greek Summer | Village Life ep.5

After coming back from Switzerland for the summer, I spent some time in the Village, helping out with the chores, seeing my family and cooking some delicious foods. From preparing home-made Dolmadakia (dolma) from our own recipe, to making our own petimezi from the grape harvest, I ended up spending a lot more time cooking during this video than initially planned to. After suffering tremendous wildfires, Greece was hit by hurricane Daniel in the early September, flooding lots of villages and wreaking havoc throughout the country. But despite all this, we try to find the beauty in simple day tasks, good company and abundant nature. I hope you enjoy!
