Once a small baby chick was standing alone and was sad, seeing this the mother hen asked the chick why are you feeling sad. The chick said I have the problem of mingling with people , fear to converse with them, what if they do not talk with me? what if they do not take up my point? The mother hen decided to teach the young chick a lesson.

When both were walking the mother hen saw a sugar cube, it took in to its mouth and started walking to a pond, and it threw the sugar cube in to the water, in no time the sugar cube dissolved in water. The mother hen asked the pond to return the Sugar cube it threw in the water. The pond said the sugar is already dissolved so I will give you 2 big fishes from the pond. (It is a story we need not ask if the hen and pond can speak, we are just interested about the moral of the story).

The mother hen and the chick took the 2 fish and put in front of a hut and they hid themselves. When the owner of the house came out saw the fishes and as their was none, he took the fishes inside and asked his wife to cook. The Hen asked the owner of the house about the fish, he said we cooked the fish in return I can give you rope to fetch water from the well.

The mother hen and the Chick carried the rope and put it near a well where there is no rope. and they hid themselves. The owner of the house seeing this started using it as there is no one around. Some time later the Hen asked the owner of the well how come he can use its rope, The owner said he is badly in need of the rope as he has many relatives in his house and cannot go to the town to buy one. So he gave high quality rice seeds which people think it is extinct.

The mother hen and the chick went a farm field where the King of the land is supervising the agriculture. The mother hen kept the high quality rice seeds near the king and hid themselves. When the King saw the highly quality seeds he was doubly happy, He asked his men to put it in for cultivation. The hen came and asked the King for seeds, but he said he is ready for anything as a compensation. The hen asked that it wanted to be a King for an hour. The King accepted. The Mother hen declared that here after it is the duty of the ruler to feed the birds and animals.

The young chick was wondering how the journey started from a small sugar cube to its mother becoming King of the land, it all happened because the mother hen just spoke out. The mother Hen told the Chick that we should not hesitate talking for the fear of failure.
