Callous Row, later revamped into Neon Divide in future seasons, is a VR science fiction, fantasy, and cyberpunk roleplay series across 4 custom maps with intertwined storylines and characters. Set within a dystopian world taken over by mega-corporations with a recent resurgence of a new phenomenon called magic lying beneath the massive city. Characters come from different walks of life; from surviving on the outskirts in Scrap Town in the Wastelands, magical denizens in The Undercity, citizens in The Row, or as corporates in The Uppercity.

Full of deadly terrain and wildlife, with scattered ruins and remnants of ancient technologies make life on the planet nearly impossible besides one massive habitable zone.
Overseen by multiple mega-corporations who have taken over the previous dominating force, the Galactic Union, now a puppet to assert their will over the Union’s citizens. The mega-corporations exist as amoral entities valuing money, technology, and progress above all else.

Magic is a very recent development within the universe. The leylines have only been open for the last 50 years, leading to the resurgence of magical races and other magical phenomena. Without much prior experience magic is considered wild, dangerous, and untrustworthy on a world dominated by technology. Conflicts arise, deals made in the dark, in a warring bid for survival as factions compete against each other on this dystopian planet.
