"Well, Pinot Noir is the best grape variety for the Cornish climate and environment, but only if you're making fizzy wine, not for red wine. We're trying to make Champagne-style wines, or wines in that style."
8. Sign at entrance to Camel Valley Vineyard
9. Pan across sign
10. SOUNDBITE: (English) Bob Lindo, Founder and owner of Camel Valley Vineyard:
''It's been incredible the rise in demand, to the point that now we have many of our trade customers on allocation and we've had to pull out of some of the multiples because the demand here at the winery and from our local restaurants and hotels is so high that we wouldn't be able to keep that satisfied if we keep selling to supermarkets and things.''

12. Winemaker Sam Lindo feeding grapes into presser
13. Close of grapes being crushed
14. Grape juice arriving in vat

16. SOUNDBITE: (English) Sam Lindo, winemaker at Camel Valley Vineyard:
" We have this longer growing season which means that we always get a decent crop and it always ripens. But it ripens a lot slower than other places so we generally tend to have a slightly higher acidity, which is very good for our sparkling, but we also have those delicate aromas and flavours, I think more so than a lot of other places."
17. Interior of visitor centre at Camel Valley Vineyard, bottles of wine in foreground
18. Bottles of wine in display units
19. Pan across section of wall with framed awards and press clippings
20. Tilt up framed award designating Gold Medal award in International Wine Challenge 2005
21. SOUNDBITE: (English) Bob Lindo, Founder and owner of Camel Valley Vineyard
"Well, the really nice thing about it is that they have their own style. You know, if you think of the fruits that we grow naturally in England, we have gooseberries, and we have raspberries and strawberries with all their own English smells that go with them. They're the smells that you get in our grapes because they're growing in the same climate and they get those same smells and tastes and characteristics. So you're not going to get exotic fruits, you're going to get our fruits. And that's why English people seem to like it so much."
London - 9 October 2006
22. Set up shot of Tom Stevenson, author and wine expert, autographing copy of 'Wine Report 2007'
23. SOUNDBITE: (English) Tom Stevenson, Author and Wine Expert:
"He doesn't make wines for people to sit down and ponder the complexity of, he makes wines that are easy and enjoyable to drink. And I've always enjoyed his Camel Valley Brut, but since they've produced the first vintage of the Pinot Noir Rose it's in a totally different class. It's ever so easy to drink but it's got that extra touch of class that the classic grape variety, the Pinot Noir, brings it."
24. Various of people at wine tasting and book launch event
