To hope for something often means that you wish it would happen, but you're pretty sure it won't. But that's not what love looks like! As a Christian, to hope for something means to EXPECT it. When we hope for Jesus' return, we don't wish it would happen, we KNOW it will happen! Godly love always hopes.
