Breaking News | BJP Demands Cancellation And Re-Polling Of Panchayat Elections In West Bengal

Counting is currently underway for panchayat elections in West Bengal, and the latest poll indicates that the TMC is leading in most of the seats. TMC is leading in 22 zila parishads and over 260 seats in the panchayat samiti; at the gramme panchayat level, TMC is leading with 25000 seats, while the BJP is at a distance with only 21 seats so far. The BJP has now alleged the TMC government is using a strong-arm tactic to browbeat BJP agents. The BJP is demanding re-polling in the presence of central forces as well.
