1) Wear reef safe sunblock to protect it (brand recommendation wearefeelgoodinc or anything without harmful chemicals like oxybenzones.)

2) It’s a short bushwalk from the carpark. Really easy!

3) Waters icy cold, refreshing, crystal clear water, bring your snorkelling gear (and wetsuit if you want to swim a while)

4) We didn’t check the tides and lucked it with these conditions.
But do not visit with a king tide, big swell and windy day or it will not look so inviting!

5) It can get busy, go early or late, and probably not a weekend or school holiday.

Yallingup in Aboriginal language means “Places of caves or place of love”.
We acknowledge the traditional owners of South West Boojarah of the Wardandi people.

The waves crash over the back of the aquarium keeping the reef alive with fish and some coral even!

Magical spot to visit. We spent half a day here. 😍
Great spot for abalone too 👌
