Qualcomm 5G Summit: Day 2

The global 5G ecosystem continues to grow at a rapid pace, and innovations into new technologies are making 5G connectivity a new standard across the world. Qualcomm 5G Summit 2021 is a premium hosted event that looks to showcase all the exciting new innovations in 5G technology, with ideas and trends for the present and future.

Day 2 of the event features further conversations on Qualcomm devices and infrastructure playing a key role in enabling developers and OEMs to lead the future of 5G. Qualcomm Senior Vice President and General Manager of 4G/5G Durga Malladi kicks off the day by sharing new features and capabilities of the latest Snapdragon X65 Modem-RF System, with demos highlighting the fast, efficient 5G mmWave network connectivity possible with these devices. A demo showcasing carrier aggregation utilizes the Modem-RF power to aggregate 3 different FDD carriers at speeds above 1 Gbps.

Other conversations revolve around further advancements in 5G technology, as well as insights into the evolution of 5G into 6G connectivity.
