This is a quick shot showing both sides of the mouth of Kelly's Creek, at its confluence with the Kanawha River. This is about 20 miles upriver from Charleston, West Virginia. This was the site of the Walter Kelly cabin circa 1773, and where he was killed by Indians. This was also the site of Fort Morris - the settlement built by William Morris and his family. This is now Cedar Grove, West Virginia.
