Crawl Space Plumbing: Connecting Bar Sink Waterlines

We didn’t drain the water and we were at the lowest point of the house, in the crawl space. For a second, I thought we hadn’t even turned it off, but luckily it was. We were connecting the waterlines for the new bar sink we added. All the waterlines were plumbed in PEX, which is the most commonly used material in our area. Usually, different colored PEX is used to identify hot and cold, but this house had all white PEX. It was still easy to identify the lines just by touching them because of the temperature difference. We used red PEX for hot and white for cold, clamped the waterlines in place with tynal clips, and finished the job in no time.
