Just got back from an amazing day trip cruising to the breathtaking Catalina Island! Leaving Oceanside Harbor at 0630 The weather was absolutely perfect for a beautiful winter's day on the water, with ideal ocean conditions making for smooth crossing in great time, we made the 48 mile ride in two hours. We spent the day enjoying the best of both worlds – live bait fishing action on the backside of the island, and some exciting trolling adventures around the charming town of Avalon, all the way up to the scenic Long Point on the frontside, before heading back to Oceanside, back in the slip by 1630 It was an unforgettable day of sun, sea, and some moderate catches with great friends.
