6 Locomotive Coal Train! - Loud SD40-2's & Great Horn on the Reading & Northern!

Описание к видео 6 Locomotive Coal Train! - Loud SD40-2's & Great Horn on the Reading & Northern!

This is the wildest set of power I've seen on a coal train, working loud and hard pulling anthracite loads through the mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania's coal region! 6 locomotives, with a great Leslie RS5T 5-chime horn on the leader!

Reading & Northern coal train JEQA travels from the Jeddo Mine, north of Hazleton, to the interchange with Norfolk Southern in Reading, Pennsylvania with:
3 SD40-2's, all working hard: 3056, 3058 & 3057 (ex-Union Pacific)
2 SW8 switchers, in tow: 801 & 803 (ex-Lehigh Valley)
1 SD50 in tow, 5014 (ex-Missouri Pacific)

Anthracite coal is exported from Fairless, Pennsylvania by ship to Sorel, Quebec for metallurgic use at the QIT Fer & Titane (Quebec Iron & Titanium) facility, owned by Rio Tinto Group.
