The people’s dog, FERAL FRANKY, also retired early this year.

Now we know that January 2020 seems a lifetime away but it was THIS YEAR!

The Feral thrilled us all with his come from behind style and his amazing track sense, winning his Group 1 at Wenty in the Vic Peters.

This year he took out a Paws of Thunder Heat after striking some trouble, and finished 2nd in the final.

On his retirement, trainer Jack Smith said “No there are no injuries, he’s totally sound, he’s done a great job, and I guess it came down to, when is a good time? We don’t want to get greedy.”
