This lesson covers a number a simple techniques that you can employ over any Jazz Standard to make it sound nice and jazzy. It involves combining:
Left Hand: Walking Bassline (targeting root notes)
Right Hand: Melody + Guide Tones (3rd & 7th of each chord)

This combination of techniques is the simplest way you to make any song sound jazzy. It has the benefit of being conceptually quite simple. While it may be relatively difficult to play at first, it's very manageable if you practice each element separately before combining them.
