Julia is a hidden character. She is an unlockable playable character.

===== HOW TO UNLOCK JULIA =====

Beat Arcade Mode twice. She is the 2nd character you unlock.

===== ABOUT JULIA =====

She is the adopted daughter of Michelle Chang, who taught her how to fight. Therefore, they share the same fighting style. Her goal is to one day reforest Arizona, which is where both Michelle and Julia live along with their tribe.

When Julia was 18 years of age, stories of sudden disappearances of famous martial artists all over the world began to reach the tribe.

With apprehension spreading through the tribe, her adoptive mother Michelle went to Japan to ask Heihachi Mishima on why he had sought to take the pendant during the second tournament. Michelle hoped to learn about the origin of Ogre's power but she never returned. Julia suspected Heihachi and now seeks him out to discover the truth.

Gameplay-wise, Julia is the replacement for Michelle from Tekken 2... she looks like her and fights like her.

---- Tekken 3 is the game of Julia's debut into the Tekken franchise.

---- Since her debut in Tekken 3, she has appeared in all subsequent Tekken games. This includes her alter-ego appearance Jaycee in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

---- When performing the mount attack (after the running tackle), Julia is one of the few female characters who punches her opponent. The female characters usually slap their opponent while doing this move.

---- Julia's hit spark graphics effect (or charge glow) changed colour throughout the series.

---- So far, she is the only female character in the series to have 2 back throws.

---- In PS1 Tekken 3, Julia's ending is the only one to have actual dialogue in it; and it is also the first ending in a Tekken game to have actual dialogue.

---- Julia's concept is similar to real-life pro-wrestler Mickie James, as both are of Native-American descent and both have once disguised themselves as Luchadors.

---- Like Lee Chaolan, Julia is also an adopted child and has an alter-ego.

===== ABOUT PS1 TEKKEN 3 =====

This is one of the best fighting games in the PS1, and it is actually better than the Arcade version due to having a few more hidden characters and having loads of features and extra modes of play. It also features an Arranged soundtrack, with the option of switching to the original Arcade tunes.

The graphics are slightly inferior to the Arcade version of course, but the extra features more than make up for that. This is likely the best they could have done on the PS1 hardware and it's very close to the Arcade game.
