Thirlmere Festival of Steam; At Thirlmere Station - Australian Steam Trains

Action around Thirlmere station on the first day of the 2024 Festival of Steam. Preserved locomotives from the NSW Rail Transport Museum in action during their annual festival.
Two trains were in operation - The Buxton shuttle with steam locos 3265 & 3001, whilst the Picton shuttle had historic Montreal Locomotive Works diesel 4001 and Garratt steam loco 6029.
