An EX SCP is a phenomenon or Special Containment Procedure that has been Explained by mainstream science. An EX can still be anomalous as long as there is an answer in mainstream science. Some EX are mistakes by the Foundation, or they were so wide spread that the Foundation would lose more trying to contain it instead of letting it go.

SCP-0000-EX is the phenomenon known by civilians as "Deja Vu".
