Old airport road in Bangalore is one of the prominent areas. In this video we are going on a ride from Marathahalli rail overbridge to Domlur flyover. It is a bright sunny Sunday morning about 7.45 AM. The road is breathable and spacious. However, its a different story on weekdays. We would also see one of most green stretch of road in Bangalore while on our ride on Old Airport Road. In the 1990s and till new airport in Devanahalli opened in 2008, the earlier HAL airport used to be the only airport for Bangalore. The stretch from the entry road to HAL Airport till Domlur flyover was one of the most sought after addresses for offices or residences. This stretch has diamond district, Golden Enclave, Prestige Casablanca etc. Manipal hospital is the largest health care facility in this area. Also, there are two 5 star hotels in Sterling Mac and Leela palace.

On the way we would see temples like Vinayaka temple, Shiva temple near Kemp fort mall. This mall started in 1997 as entertainment and shopping destination but it has now changed avatar and is more like a mall and is known as Kemp Fort Mall. Learn about the history of Big Kids Kemp.
