There's a lot happening in Sudan at the moment, which needs a lot more attention than its getting. But also a lot has been happening over the last 6 years. It seems a lot of people don't know where to begin. So in this video essay, Ayman lays out a concise history starting with the Sudanese revolution which began in December 2018 and ending with the present moment of prolonged catastrophic warfare. He also goes into depth about two powerful expressions of the revolution: the Resistance Committees and the Revolutionary Charters. Hopefully this video will help people form stronger connections with Sudan or at least help them understand the situation a little better.
