24 Hours in ZAGREB? Don't Miss These Things!

Описание к видео 24 Hours in ZAGREB? Don't Miss These Things!

In The Stopover series I’ll take you around the city and show you the best of what you can enjoy, visit and eat in a short stopover of 24 to 48 hours. We won’t see everything, but we’ll make the most our time at wherever in the world we are!

In the third episode we’ll discover Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.

For this one full day and evening in Zagreb, we’ll see some of the sights but also explore some great places for food, coffee and locally made beer with the locals.

Firstly on the arrival evening, we’ll go for traditional food at Pub Mlinarica up in the hills north of the city.

Fresh again in the morning we’ll visit the Cathedral of Zagreb, walk the upper town, the Dollar market, Bistro Broom44, St. Mark's Church, the Stone Gate and ride the Funicular before grabbing lunch in Kai Street Food.

From there we’ll explore the lower town with the help of a local friend, heading through Park Zrinjevac, Park Josipa Jurja Strossmayera and Trg Kralja Tomislava on the way to Zagreb central station and exploring the monumental architecture of the lower town.

We’ll head off after the sightseeing to the popular with locals Ambasada beer store and bar, before getting a cab way out of town to visit The Garden brewery, probably the most famous craft brewery in Croatia.

After all that, we’ll finish in Valhalla bar back in the upper town. In Zagreb, the road always ends with Valhalla…

Come along for some great times in Zagreb!
