How to Crochet an Evil Eye Granny Square 🧿

Pattern:
Round 1 (black yarn): Chain 3, work 11 double crochet stitches into magic loop. Close round with slip stitch in top of chain 3. (Total of 12 stitches)
Round 2 (light blue yarn): Chain 3, work 2 double crochets into each stitch. Close round with slip stitch in top of chain 3. (Total of 24 stitches)
Round 3 (white yarn): Chain 3, work 2 double crochets into first stitch, work 1 double crochet into next stitch. Continue alternating, close round with slip stitch in top of chain 3. (Total of 36 stitches)
Round 4 (dark blue yarn): Chain 3, work 2 double crochets into first stitch, work 1 double crochet into next two stitches. Continue alternating, close round with slip stitch in top of chain 3. (Total of 48 stitches)
Round 5 (black yarn): Chain 3, work 2 double crochets into first stitch, chain one, work 2 double crochets into next stitch. Work 1 half double crochet into next stitch, then 8 single crochets. Continue, close round with slip stitch in top of chain 3.
Round 6: Chain 3, work 1 double crochet into next stitch. Into the chain one space from Round 5, work 2 double crochets, chain 2, then another 2 doubles. Work 14 double crochets. Continue, close round with slip stitch in top of chain 3. Weave in ends.
