Since so many people asked us why we didn't try this, I decided to try this. Hopefully this will clear things up and someone learned something new.
Here ya go. This is why Danny and I didn't bother to use smoke-less powder in our tests. Now I have a lead ball stuck in my cannon.

Smokeless powder is actually quite stable and isn't even classified as an explosive.
