As I write this we have 4 does and two bucks out there. The rain is lashing down as usual, but they seem alright. There’s nearly a third of an acre for them – but I have no idea what the stocking density of rabbits on this sort of land might be. We are feeding them too – lamb pellets and rolled outs.

Yes, they are using the warren – but they spend more time under the bushes or in the goose hut. The guinea pigs like it though.

These rabbits were supposed to be too young to breed still – but no one seemed to have told them so we can perhaps expect new arrivals in a month or so. That’s provided nothing goes wrong – and that’s unlikely. So far, so good though.

We do have a management plan – I’ll have to make another video about that sometime. Wish us luck?
