At the December 8th AEG Chicago 22Q4 Stakeholder Challenge on Clean Transportation, Arthur Burton presented how strengthening our public resolve for change is a critical obstacle to achieving clean transportation and carbon equity goals in Chicago.

Arthur Burton is the Managing Agent and Owner of AMB Renewable Energy. AMB Renewable Energy Inc was established in 2019 to address disinvestment and disproportionate exposure to harmful pollution in Chicago's environmental justice communities. One of the company’s most recent projects has been to install solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations in the Urban League parking lot. In addition to providing energy installation services, Burton also collaborates with Christopher Williams, CEO of Calumet City, Illinois-based Millennium Solar, to provide opportunities for members of disinvested communities to obtain training for green jobs.

AMB RE provides energy efficiency services and product consulting for new development and retrofits for both residential and commercial clients. AMB professionals can install solar panels and charging stations for electronic vehicles and is an authorized reseller of Enel X JuiceBox Electric Vehicle (EV). AMB offers clean energy products and provides consulting services to underserved communities at affordable rates. AMB supports low-income families, and the organization's community outreach group works to develop and implement the Clean Energy Jobs Act (CEJA) and Future Energy Jobs Acts (FEJA) programs in underserved areas.
