Transformers brought Soundwave into our lives in 1984 and he continues to be one of the most popular Decepticons ever. Well, not so much with Autobots. In 2015 a Platinum Edition Soundwave, which also celebrated the Year of the Goat (Greatest of All Time?), was produced with special deco and included his 5 original cassette minions. Captain Kyle reviews this special edition set to see if you might just want to add it to your collection.

Soundwave is the Decepticon Communications Officer and both container and leader of the cassette squad, which includes Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Ravage, Rumble, and Frenzy. This Year of the Goat Platinum Edition Soundwave includes those cassettes and also has a Megatron in gun form, an energon cube (empty) to attach to his chest, the scanner grid, his arm scanner, his weapon, and piledrivers for Rumble and Frenzy. Modeled after the Masterpiece Soundwave, this very cool figure is a great addition to any Soundwave lover’s collection. Captain Kyle goes through it bit by bit.
