Prime Time: Is Budget 2018-19 Really Farmer-Friendly As Is Being Projected?

Prime Time speaks to agriculture expert Devinder Sharma to understand how the Union Budget 2018 will help farmers. Mr Sharma says that the existing crop insurance policy has benefited the insurance providers more than the farmers. He adds that the budgetary allocation made towards agriculture is very low and it would not help in considerably increasing the income of families dependent on agriculture. (Audio in Hindi)
