Harkening back to the sounds of classic vapor, 회사AUTO returns to their roots of manipulating samples and soundscapes, but also brings in the 10+ years of experimentation with original sounds and drums/percussion. The EP floats between the worlds of slushwave and late night lofi but never quite falls into the tropes of either subgenre. 회사AUTO is taking the classic techniques of vapor and modernizing them with layers of expert production and engulfing sound design- it is merely a prelude to the upcoming full length album “Achikochi”- out January 6th, 2023 on Pacific Plaza.

From the Artist: "This EP was inspired by my past travels by bus, train, airplane, car, etc. I would see cities, road signs, mountains passing by, and have a deep sense of longing and yearning while watching the beauty of the world. Sometimes, all I would see for miles was the land, and bright yellow and black signs pointing me onwards. Toshi means urban in Japanese. This short EP focuses not only on small trips to cities, but the distances between those urban areas, and the inner dialogue one has while traveling."
