In this video, I’ll be making an essential accessory for any side arm in the Star Wars universe: a holster. This is the first time I’ve ever used leather or worked with it, and I was very happy with the end result! Despite great results, this holster was a long build, and there were several key things I left out when filming. Even so, I couldn’t explain them well enough to provide a comprehensive guide... BUT CHUCK DORSETTE FROM WEAVER LEATHERCRAFT SURE CAN! I have made a playlist of videos I found extremely helpful with my build that I recommend you watch, and adapt to your own design for your blaster. When looking at tools, I looked at ones that costed roughly $10-$15 on Amazon. Look at reviews, make sure they’re good, but don’t over pay. For me these tools were good. They’re a bit dull and not top notch, but they work and they’re SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than other tools. I am just getting into leatherwork, and I have sued these tools about once a week for 4 months now with no real big problems. I will probably end up getting better tools, but for now, these are fine, and perfectly serviceable.
