Hailing from Delhi, Manisha pursued her graduation and post-graduation from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. She started preparing for UPSC during her college days.

She failed at the prelims stage thrice, but that didn’t deter her. Instead, the consecutive failures at the first stage itself, strengthened her resolve further & she went on to clear all 3 stages in her 4th attempt.

Self-confidence, consistency, remaining optimistic & being surrounded by positive people helped her persevere through every setback.
