In this video I give an introduction to retaining wall design. I go over some of the basics you'll need to know before you get started, I give you a refresher on the relevant geotechnical parameters, then I go through the 3 global stability checks and how to find the design actions in the wall, and finally, at the end of the video I show a resource I made that summarises all this information as well as an excel spreadsheet that automates all of these calculations.
