Long story made short: I found out of the bullet journal existence through qualcosadierre here in YouTube. But no matter how many videos I watched, I didn’t fully understand the method until I read the book by the creator, Ryder Carroll. So if you want to start bullet journaling, I definitely recommend reading it, definitely!

After realizing bullet journaling might be just what I need to organize my life, I spent some time thinking of spreads and layouts that might work for me. And after some hours of sketching and erasing and erasing, I was finally happy with what I had so I inked it and now I can’t wait for 2020 to start filling it in!

The Bullet Journal Method is about trial and error, understanding what works for you and discarding what doesn’t. So I might have gone a little over board with so many collections but most I had already been using in my planners and agendas, others are new and I want to see if I can keep up, which will mean they are helpful and are making my life easier.

A word on the art. Bullet Journaling is originally simple, no need for all the doodling and coloring and washi tape. But, I had to have it to make it mine. I’ve always loved drawing and art and cute stationery so why not? It keeps it fresh and original and personally motivates me to open it and have some quiet moments to let my creativity run wild.
