1986年5月「さよならのオーシャン」で、ソロ・デビュー。
80年代のミュージックシーンを疾風のごとく駆け抜けたJ-POP/J-AORのカリスマ的存在。
独自の世界を確立し、ソロ・アーティストとして一時代を築いた杉山清貴。
ソロでの活動のひとつとして全国ファンへ向けた、ギターでの弾き語りの「アコースティクLIVE」から大規模ホールでのコンサートツアー（フルバンド）そしてライブハウスへの出演など幅広い演奏活動を年間通じて展開している。

Kiyotaka Sugiyama's solo carrer was inaugurated with the song "Sayonara no Ocean" in May 1986.
He is one of the most popular J-POP/J-AOR artists that have run through the 80's, and has established an epoch as a solo artist with creating his own world.
He develops in a wide range of performance activities for all over Japanese fans throughout the year as one of his solo works,
from "Acoustic show" singing with the guitar to concert tours in large-scale halls with the band and performances in music venues.
