There are approximately 20% less homes for sale than last year at this time. Why does this matter? We are a Seasonal market and Winter in Utah is traditionally slower in sales and new listings. The 20% decrease would indicate that so far 2022 is looking to be a less brisk market compared to 2021.

Having said all of that, I would have never predicted the wild ride we've been on for the last two years. When the pandemic started I was predicting a worse crash than the Great Recession. The real estate market went off the rails in terms of price values and sales volume. We are obviously in a housing crisis as a result.

I have been selling homes for the last 20 years and a huge part of why I've had longevity and success is by maintaining a positive attitude combined with hard work. I believe I attract abundance in all areas of my life and it starts with what my brain is telling me. What I choose to believe as fact vs fiction is up to me. I find it very helpful to affirm the positive and take action from there. Our minds are like gardens, if I don't take great care to nurture and create a beautiful experience then weeds grow without any effort.
