The diligent team of Anti-Narcotics Squad West District has done commendable work by arresting one drug peddler namely Oliver James an African national along with the recovery of around 48 Gram Heroine (Drug).

INFORMATION, TEAM AND APPREHENSION
To curb the menace of smuggling and consumption of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, Anti-Narcotic Squad West District had deployed its technical and manual surveillance upon drug paddlers.

In continuation of that, Anti-Narcotics Squad Lekhraj received a specific information regarding supply of Heroine (Drug) at Old Mahavir Nagar, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi. Immediately, a raiding team consisting of SI Jagbir, SI Manish, HC Manjeet HC Vijay, HC Dinesh, HC Vinay, HC Lekhraj and W/HC Kavita was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Anuj Kumar, I/C Anti-Narcotics Squad and close supervision of ACP/Operations.

Accordingly, a raid was conducted at aforementioned place, where one person namely Oliver James an African national Aged 34 years, was seen by the team, having some suspicious article. After all legal formalities, personal search of the suspect was conducted and around 48 Gram Heroine was recovered from his possession. Accordingly, a case under the provisions of NDPS Act was registered at PS Tilak Nagar and accused person was apprehended. Further investigation is going on to identify the source of Heroine (drug).
