I want to focus your attention on difficult things:
1) The main theme of the melody is amplified and by 0:38 the main melody goes to the left hand, it should sound expressive like the melody in the right hand. At 0:50, the third melody appears (from the long note D).
2) At 0:54, there is a sharp staccato in the left hand, and the right hand gathers a common chord (preferably without the right pedal to emphasize the staccato).
3) I think that young pianists should not even try to perform the chromatic scale at 1:08, which passes from the left hand to the right hand and back - this is an extremely difficult moment, but it is possible to learn it, the problem is that you need to cope without the right pedal and to continue to play sharp staccato accompaniment.
4) At 1:10, another upper-case melody is added to the already familiar "pentatonic" melody. I originally wanted the seventh chords in my left hand to interrupt the right pedal, but then I changed my mind, I want to collect a thick harmony, and at the same time, as you realized, short durations are actually staccato, they are so conceived, so it's up to you to decide how to perform it.
