Romanians Going to Revolution, Again: Artificial Intelligence

To say that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a hot topic these days would be a serious understatement of just how ubiquitous it has become – both as a subject of public debate and through the ways we interact with AI powered products and services in everyday life.
We aim to outline Romanians’ stance on this technology, especially in relation to work. We’ll also include some comparisons with the perspectives of people from a more developed and distant country.
We don’t claim to offer complete or definitive answers to the many complex questions surrounding this topic. However, we hope that the insights we’ll present contribute, even in a small way, to the broader conversation about our relationship with Artificial Intelligence.

Liviu Micu, Senior Researcher at DataDiggers

Liviu has been active in market research for over 20 years. With a background in quantitative methodologies, he has also been involved in mixed qualitative–quantitative projects covering areas such as consumer satisfaction, brand image, segmentation, and product development. He’s still working on the ability to persuade data to reveal useful answers to business questions.
Over the course of his career, Liviu has contributed to numerous large-scale studies and has presented research findings at international events. He has also led webinars on topics ranging from innovation in the food industry to sustainability trends and has appeared in media to share insights from national studies on health and consumer behaviour. Colleagues often joke that he asks too many questions, but this curiosity is at the heart of his work. Liviu believes that asking the right questions and setting the right expectations is the key to producing meaningful research and building lasting trust with clients and stakeholders.
