We work with many people who are interested in the 55+ communities here in Williamsburg. But they aren't always the perfect fit. So in today's video, I thought we could take a look at 7 neighborhoods that have some similarities to the 55+ subdivisions, like Colonial Heritage and The Settlement at Powhatan Creek. The biggest negatives we hear about the 55+ neighborhoods are usually about having to pay high association fees for amenities they won't be using, or that the houses are right on top of each other, and they want a little more space. So we're going to explore other options throughout Williamsburg that feature the main components of a 55+ community, and that's homes with first floor master bedrooms, and also homes that are smaller or at least more reasonable in size. So no 5000 square foot homes in this video!

We'll start with living in New Town at Charlotte Park and Shirley Park. Then over to Lake Powell Forest. Third we take a quick trip to the new homes community of Waller Mill Heights. Then onto the neighborhood with the largest yards for the day - Piney Creek Estates. Fifth is the Villages of Westminster, followed by Arbordale. Then we finish up in Norge in the new construction neighborhood of Walnut Farms. You should see chapters in the video if you want to skip around and see a particular neighborhood.

Williamsburg, Virginia is one of the truly great American towns. Moving to Williamsburg has it's challenges, but once you're here you'll never want to be anywhere else!
