I got to witness Mameaya's Misedashi (apprentice Geiko/Geisha debut?) in Kyoto, in the Spring of 2019. I was absolutely crying my heart out. I was quietly sobbing with happiness. It was one of the most beautiful experiences of my entire life. I’m so happy I got to witness such an important moment in this girls life. It will be with me for the rest of my life.

Congratulations Mameaya!!! I hope one day I can meet you for tea, a performance and good conversation!
