We thought the danger was the summit, until the ridge vanished beneath our feet...

In mid-June, we set out to climb Pollux and Castor over 3 days.
After a failed attempt on Pollux, we attempted Castor on the last day.

The weather throughout the day kept changing, and it was by far the biggest challenge of the day (that and the 50 degree slope).

Castor was a great classic mountaineering challenge, and I'm sure that in a few years we'll be back in the Alps to climb Pollux.
