First time in Las Vegas, 1987, for American Heart Assoc conference.

Update: The Mirage Hotel was just going up in 1987 and on 11 July 2024 it was announced they were closing.

There are many good scenes of the old Las Vegas in this video from 1987. A group of us were sent there for the American Heart Association conference. I presented a paper. We were staying at the old MGM Grand bldg. which I think was a Bally Hotel at the time. It's almost 40 years ago now.

Back in 1987, I was making these vids mainly for myself since I had no idea or concept that something like YouTube would come along. I claim no prescience. Yet, now I have some kind of inner satisfaction knowing that someone other that my small group of friends (very small) can enjoy these videos.
